Don’t Quit

Everyone struggles from time to time. It’s part of being that thing we call human. I’ve always loved a good comeback story. I feel like I’m living one–the underdog that had piles of statistics placed against her at an early age, but she managed to pave a different path for her future through lots of mentoring and guidance from teachers and coaches. Just a little girl that didn’t give up. She held onto hope that things could be different. It wasn’t without hardship, heartache, conquering tough obstacles, and even leaving some people behind. Bottom line–that little underdog didn’t quit.I’ve found that continuing through life (no matter your path) is much the same way. There will always be mistakes, shortcomings, overwhelming expectations, etc., that come against us.

Will there be challenging obstacles to conquer?

Will there be heartache?

Will we sometimes have to leave people behind, or will they leave us behind?

Yes. Yes. And, yes. But, when we choose not to quit, we hold the power.

We own our struggle and learn from it. We allow it to shape us into the incredible human being we later become. We view that struggle as an experience that gave us new levels of empathy and understanding. Overcoming the struggles of life is what molds us.Don’t quit!
