There’s just something about nothing.
Nothing is space.
It’s the deep breaths we take when everything around us is racing by. It’s the white space on the page so we can read words. “It’s the silence between the notes that holds the key to all music,” Claude Debussy. In fact, music actually depends on nothing! Nothing is powerful. Because “Nothing is really something,” as shared by Elizabeth Rusch and Elizabeth Goss shared in the adorable picture book All About Nothing.
In Episode 30 of The REAL Journey Show, I discuss the power of nothing. We can have too much nothing, but there are also times when we need to make more time for nothing.
Do you need to create some space in your life?
Just do it! Surrender. Nothingness can help us find clarity, gain perspective, dream, be present, and live with greater purpose.
