Ever wish wish parts of your life didn’t happen? Want to erase them? Get a re-do?
I recently had a friend say they were reading No Bad Parts by Richard C. Schwartz, Ph.D. I haven’t read it, but the title of that book got me thinking.
I’m completely convinced that there are no “bad parts”—just experiences that shaped us into the humans we are today.
And, because of ALL the parts, we are able to live our best life.
We need those pieces. *We may not have deserved them, but they happened. They are part of us.
Life is one huge puzzle, and without ALL of the pieces, the picture would be incomplete. No one likes a puzzle picture with a missing piece. Is there anything more annoying than getting to the end of the puzzle and there is an empty hole in your final product?!
It’s the same with your life!
We need all the parts.
Embrace them. Use them to learn and grow. Allow them to develop into new levels of empathy.
You are complete with ALL the pieces.
Your life is a beautiful puzzle-picture!
